I was off travelling the UK last week and here are a few of my images from the trip. Hope you enjoy.

Wrynose Pass in the Lake District. This one is a favourite, I just caught the mist rolling out revealing the terrain behind.

Derwentwater, taken on a relaxing boat trip around the lake during an afternoon off on my road trip.

This is the River Rothay in Grasmere, taken from the road bridge. I tried a few ideas in Lightroom and settled on this split tone version.

The Struggle above Ambleside. A strange name for a road but after driving on it I can see why, hairpin bends and very narrow.

Edinburgh from the castle, looking down the Royal Mile. I'd spotted the phone boxes so I thought it would look good to have the red stand out whilst using mono for the rest. I think the clouds add a nice depth to the image

Edinburgh Castle. A touch of post processing on this one, I think the sky also adds more depth to this photo.

I took a stroll up Edinburgh's Royal Mile and liked the angle of this church. Another that looked better in mono.

One more from my stroll around Edinburgh. Again, I preferred the shot in mono and it makes the brooding sky stand out.
